Το Ισραηλινο-Ελληνικό Φόρουμ-η βασική πλατφόρμα εμβάθυνσης των σχέσεων μεταξύ ακαδημαϊκών, δημόσιων διανοουμένων και ειδικών στην Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο και το Ισραήλ-θα συνέλθει στη Λευκωσία στις 19-21 Ιουνίου.

Αυτή θα είναι η τρίτη συμβατική σύνοδος του Φόρουμ από την ίδρυση του. Οι προηγούμενες πραγματοποιήθηκαν στην Ιερουσαλήμ (Νοέμβριος 2019) και στην Αθήνα (Ιούνιος 2022) ενώ οι συναντήσεις το 2020 και το 2021 πραγματοποιήθηκαν διαδικτυακά.
Η συνάντηση συνδιοργανώνεται από το B’nai B’rith International, το Κυπριακό Κέντρο Ευρωπαϊκών και Διεθνών Υποθέσεων, το οποίο είναι συνδεδεμένο με το Πανεπιστήμιο Λευκωσίας και το Ινστιτούτο Διεθνών Σχέσεων (ΙΔΙΣ) του Παντείου Πανεπιστημίου.
Ο Πρόεδρος της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας, κ. Νικος Χριστοδουλίδης, θα προσφωνήσει το Συνέδριο.
Πέραν των 40 διακεκριμένων Ελλαδιτών, Κυπρίων και Ισραηλινών θα συμμετάσχουν στην εκδήλωση, περιλαμβανομένων: του Καθηγητή Ανδρέα Θεοφάνους, Προέδρου του Κυπριακού Κέντρου Ευρωπαϊκών και Διεθνών Υποθέσεων, του κ. Tzachi Hanegbi, Συμβούλου Εθνικής Ασφαλείας του Ισραήλ, του Καθηγητή Άγγελου Συρίγου, του Πρέσβη του Ισραήλ στην Κύπρο κ. Oren Anolik, του Πρέσβη της Ελλάδας στην Κύπρο κ. Ιωάννη Παπαμελετίου, του Πρέσβη της Κύπρου στο Ισραήλ κ. Κορνήλιου Κορνηλίου, του Υπουργού Άμυνας της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας κ. Μιχάλη Γιωργάλλα, του Αρχηγού της Εθνικής Φρουράς Αντιστράτηγου Δημόκριτου Ζερβάκη, της Διευθύντριας του Διπλωματικού Γραφείου του Προέδρου της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας κας Μαριλένας Ραουνά, του επιστημονικού επιμελητή του Επιστημονικού Κέντρου Ανάλυσης και Σχεδιασμού του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών της Ελλάδας και Προέδρου του ΙΔΙΣ Καθηγητή Κώστα Υφαντή του βουλευτή, Προέδρου της Κοινοβουλευτικής Ομάδας Φιλίας Ελλάδας-Ισραήλ Καθηγητή Δημήτρη Καιρίδη, του Συμβούλου Εθνικής Ασφαλείας του Πρωθυπουργού της Ελλάδας κ. Θάνου Ντόκου, του Πρέσβη επί τιμή κ. Mark Regev, του Προέδρου του Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security Καθηγητή Efrem Inbar και του CEO του B’nai B’rith Daniel S. Mariaschin.

Το συνέδριο θα διεξαχθεί στην αγγλική γλώσσα.
Οι Διοργανωτές του Συνεδρίου θεωρούν ότι «η Σύνοδος του Ισραηλινο-Ελληνικού Φόρουμ στη Λευκωσία αναμφίβολα θα αποτελέσει ένα γεγονός-ορόσημο. Επιπρόσθετα, ένας βασικός στόχος είναι η περαιτέρω ενίσχυση των σχέσεων μεταξύ των τριών χωρών σε όλα τα επίπεδα».
